Just before Christmas, I was asked to take some family Photos. It was a gift, and I thought a great idea. Having ten children of my own, I know how difficult it can be to assemble them at one time. One precious little girl celebrated her First Birthday recently. We set her up with a tutu and a cake and let her have fun! I'm not sure who had more fun...her eating the cake, or us watching her. We all had a great time, and these are just a sample of the results. Enjoy your sneak peek!

I was asked by a High School friend to take some pictures of her family. I felt very honored to be asked, and had a great time getting to know her kids, and looking into the future of what it will be like raising twins! Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting up with a wonderful family and their lovely daughter. She is quite a character, and we had a blast! She found some berries and carried them with her the whole time! I had to hold them myself during some of her pictures, she was quick to remind me "not to crush them". So sweet! I am a little behind in posting this, but a couple of Saturdays ago, I spent a lovely morning with two amazing young men about to embark on wonderful adventures. They are twins, but have totaly different personalities and gave me a glimpse into what my own twin girls will be like. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Thursday, I spent the morning taking pictures of Haydar. He is the horse and family member of a dear co worker, and he is ill. She wanted to make sure to capture his beauty. Haydar is blind, so he wasn't nearly as spooked with my presence, and even seemed to sense me being there, and stood and posed for the longest time. I had a wonderful time. Enjoy your sneak peek.

Last Saturday, I was privileged to be asked to take pictures of a Father and his daughter and their canine family member, Dakota. Poor Dakota had to put up with my antics, but he tolerated me, and was even kind enough to allow me to get a picture of just him. I was so impressed by this young lady, what a great personality she has, and the boys....the boys will really like her....sooner than her Father will ever want them too! Here's your sneak peek!

Last Saturday I had the privilege of spending some time with a young man about to finish his Senior Year in High School. It was a pleasure to meet him, and we had some incredible scenery to work with. His girlfriend was kind enough to tolerate me and my ideas, as we took some of the two of them together! Last Tuesday I spent the morning with the nicest family. I really enjoyed , meeting them. The pressure was on, as one of their sons was leaving that Saturday. I have been so blessed to meet some very great people in this past year, and this family inspired me! Before I left I was asked to get a picture of the three flags they had blowing in the wind....and the wind was scarce that day, but with one gust of wind we were able to get the flags flying!! Tuesday morning I spent some time with a new Mom and her soon to be baby boy. He should be here soon, so we were pressed for time. Last Saturday I spent the day at a family reunion. There were new little ones there that some of us had never met. It was great to see everyone and better yet to get the babies to smile for pictures. Here is a sneak peek of some of the smiles!

Two weeks ago already, I met this lovely family, of whom I photographed when this little one was only a week old, at Cox Arboretum. The weather was a little cool, but otherwise perfect for picture taking. I really enjoyed spending time with this now 8 month old. My how she has grown!! What a pleasure she is, and we got not only the posed shots, but some great candids with this little personality. Enjoy your sneak peek!

I was asked to take some pictures of Hawk, a beautiful horse. I have not ventured into taking pictures of pets, but I thought we did well, especially after Hawk trained me. I realized that I was working on Hawk's time, not the other way around. Once we quit trying to get the "perfect" picture, and let Hawk do HIS thing.....we were able to capture him at his best. Thanks, Hawk, for teaching me such a valuable life lesson.
